I teach medieval literature as a Lecturer at California State University, Dominguez Hills, just outside my hometown, Los Angeles. I earned my PhD in English at Harvard University in November 2021. My research focuses on gender and race in women’s visionary texts ––one of the earliest and most important bodies of women’s writing––in a global context, from Egypt in the early Christian period, to England in the late Middle Ages, to the Spanish colonies in early modernity. You can find my CV here.
I’m also a digital humanist and editor, and am available to take on freelance projects in book and web editing. If you’re interested in contracting for a project, email me at anna.kelner@gmail.com. I tweet very sporadically at @annarkelner.
